এক ব্যক্তি একট লম্বা তাল গাছের মাথায় বসে কেটে ফেললেন সেই গাছ। চেনস (গাছ কাটার যন্ত্র) দিয়ে কাটতে লাগলেন সেটি। তবে যখনই কেটেছেন ডালের সামনের অংশ। তখনই গাছটি এদিক থেকে ওদিক দুলতে লাগল। এ ভাবে কাটতে কাটতে তালগাছটির সামনের অংশ বাদ দিয়ে দিলেন। নিজে গাছের আগার অংশ ধরে বসে থাকলেন।
