Method: Stop Windows Update Using Local Group Policy Editor called [gpedit.msc]

Step 1: To open Group Policy Editor[gpedit.msc], use this Short Cut Key “Press Windows Key+R”, it will open Run Command Window, here you need to type “gpedit.msc”. It will open “Local Group Policy Editor”.
